Prior to co-founding our office, Hunter was a principal and project manager with McKee Carson and an associate with Nelson Byrd Woltz in Charlottesville, Virginia and Alissa Noguez Landscape Architects in San Jose, California. Hunter has a professional degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia.
Hunter has managed and collaborated on projects ranging from habitat restoration, residential, farm planning, schools and universities, museums, parks and arboretums. Hunter is interested in creating landscapes that foster exploration through blending art and stewardship with a technical knowledge of ecological systems and construction. When out of the office, Hunter enjoys gardening, climbing trees, catching insects and playing in the forest adjacent to his house with his family. He is an avid mountain biker whenever he can sneak away.
