Hawker is a landscape architect whose background in architecture and construction provides him with expertise in construction detailing and administration. Prior to joining Water Street, Hawker spent eight years with Mitchell Matthews Architects in Charlottesville and many more with firms in Boston, Massachussetts and Jackson, Wyoming.
Working closely with contractors and suppliers, Hawker enjoys creating easily maintained, durable, and beautiful environments. He holds his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
Hawker is currently designing and building a home for his wife and two children while living in a yurt.
