Founded in 2008, Waterstreet Studio is a multi-disciplinary environmental design firm with offices in Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia. Foremost, we are landscape architects committed to client service and effective creativity.
Our work at Waterstreet is focused on planning and design of residential properties; commercial and institutional campuses; rural conservation tracts; civic spaces and urban streetscapes. Responding to such diversity, we employ a philosophy and approach that promotes creative expression, pioneering thought and active contribution among all disciplines and stakeholders. We listen, we interpret and then we create.
Whether working with private land owners, institutions, municipalities or development professionals, our primary objective is to connect people to place, creating purposeful and engaging landscapes that are both economically viable and environmentally responsible.
Over the years we have assembled a team of dedicated professionals with a broad range of experience and expertise in such diverse fields as design, civil engineering, construction, urban planning, horticulture, arboriculture, environmental science, land development, real estate, cultural anthropology and fine arts. Collectively, our staff holds professional certifications or licensure in landscape architecture, civil engineering, real estate, arboriculture and horticulture.
